Tuolumne County Planning Commission

Purpose Statement

The Tuolumne County Planning Commission (TCPC) is part of the Tuolumne County Planning Agency and participates in the function of that agency. The Commission is also authorized under the Tuolumne County Ordinance Code to serve as a recommending body to the Boar of Supervisors on General Plan Amendments, Zone Changes, Planned Unit Development Permits, and Tentative Subdivision Maps. The Commission is also the decision making body for Conditional Use Permits, Site Development Permits, Site Review Permits, and Variances.

Membership

The Commission is comprised of seven (7) members appointed by the Board of Supervisors, five (5) of the members are representatives from the five supervisorial districts and two (2) are representatives of the general public.

  • Meeting Location: Board of Supervisors Chambers, 4th Floor of the Administration Building                    2 South Green Street, Sonora
