Mascot Contest

                                   ABOUT THE MASCOT CONTEST

The Tuolumne County Mascot Contest is one component of the Don't Trash Tuolumne Cleanup Campaign in an effort to keep Tuolumne County clean, safe, and beautiful! The mascot contest will be open to K-12 grade school students throughout Tuolumne County, including students in non-traditional school settings. The mascot contest is critical to the Cleanup Campaign as the winning design submission will be featured throughout Tuolumne County on bus advertisements, vehicle decals, infographic trash can stickers, and more!

The mascot contest submission form will open to students on January 8th, 2024. Mascot contest submissions will close at 5:00 p.m. on January 23, 2024.

Once all submissions have been received, a panel of judges will review the entries and determine a winner based on creativity and connections to recycling. The winning design will be unveiled as a physical mascot at our Sonora Cleanup Kickoff Event on April 13, 2024, and will attend all other planned campaign events!

Additional details about the mascot contest can be found in the Introductory and Lesson Plan videos under the Mascot Contest page at www.dont-trash-tuolumne.com
