Economic Development Strategy
An economic development strategy is essential for creating a focused, concerted effort to enhance community growth, rather than relying on piecemeal approaches that may lack cohesion. By developing a strategy, we can take stock of ongoing initiatives within the community and recognize that even small improvements contribute to larger economic gains. It’s important to identify and leverage these opportunities, ensuring they align with long-term development goals.

Community Meetings
To ensure the strategy is effective and grounded in real community needs, we are committed to avoiding a top-down approach. Instead, we prioritize gathering input directly from those who live and work in the community, understanding their perspectives on what will drive economic development. In the past year, we have conducted open discussions and meetings in various communities around Tuolumne County. Through these meetings, the documents below have been developed expressing the local perspectives expressed by stakeholders in that community.
