Certified Copies

Certified copies include the official seal or imprint of the Tuolumne County Recorder and are certified as true and exact reproductions of the original recorded document. These copies are available only directly from the Tuolumne County Recorder’s Office and are typically required for legal, official, or governmental purposes.

Non-Certified Copies

Non-certified copies do not include the Recorder’s seal or certification and are not guaranteed to be exact copies of the original record. While they are generally considered accurate representations, they are intended for informational or general use only and may not be accepted for official or legal purposes.

Non-Certified Copies by Phone
Non-certified copies can be ordered by phone, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Non-certified copies can be sent via email at no additional cost.
