Library Curbside Pickup Service
Tuolumne County Public Library is excited to announce that we are now offering Curbside Pickup Service at the Sonora Main Library and the Groveland Branch.
Due to the COVID-19 local health emergency the library buildings will remain closed to the public. While we are closed to inside library services, we have been authorized by the Board of Supervisors to offer Curbside Service for our patrons to borrow library materials. This service will allow patrons to pick up and access library materials that they have placed on hold.
Items may be placed on hold using our website link to the library catalog  or by contacting the Sonora Main library at (209) 533-5507. Once staff has the list of materials on hold they will put them together and contact the library patron to set up a date and time that they can be picked up at the library. When arriving at the library for your Curbside Pickup appointment please follow the signs to the designated parking spaces. Please remain in your vehicle and call the phone number listed on the sign for your parking stall to let us know that you have arrived and to receive any further instructions. Staff will deliver your bagged materials to your car. Masks are mandatory. Please understand that if masks or face coverings are not worn, we will not be able to give you your library materials. Materials are to be returned to the exterior book drops. Please do NOT return the pickup bags with your returned materials.
All returned materials will be quarantined for 72 hours prior to being checked back in and shelved to meet the State Library's guidelines for coronavirus disinfection.
Beginning August 1, 2020 the Tuolumne County Public Library will be re-instituting our fines and fees structure only for any new materials checked out though our Curbside Service program.
Curbside Pickup Service appointment are available:
Sonora Main Library - Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

For more information please view our Frequently Asked Questions sheet that has more details about the program or you can contact staff at the library by calling (209) 533-5507 or email libref@co.tuolumne.ca.us. If you need a library card to access our online services please download and complete the Library Card Application form. Please be sure to open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete and save the information. You may also apply for your children. They can be mailed to libref@co.tuolumne.ca.us and staff will process the information and mail a library card to your mailing address.

Tuolumne County Public Library is asking our wonderful community to please refrain from dropping off materials they wish to donate to the library. We do NOT have the staff needed to properly sanitize and sort these items. Thank you so much for your consideration and understanding during this COVID-19 health crisis.
