Coming Soon: Property Tax Assistance
Coming Soon: The California Mortgage Relief Program, which helps homeowners catch up on their housing payments, will soon launch a property tax assistance option. Visit CaMortgageRelief.org to see if you qualify for the current program or sign up for the program's ENewsletter to get notified when the property tax option becomes available.

TAXPAYERS - The second installment of County taxes are due February 1, 2022, and becomes DELINQUENT on Monday, April 11. The Tax Collector's Office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mailed remittance must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on April 11th to avoid penalty. The Tax Collector cannot extend the time of payment.

TAXPAYERS - The first installment of County taxes is due Monday, November 1, and becomes DELINQUENT Friday, December 10. The Tax Collector's Office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For questions, call us at (209) 533-5544. Pay online or for telephone payments call (866) 513-9216. Receipts are available online next-day or by including self-addressed stamped envelope. Mailed remittance must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on December 10 to avoid penalty. The Tax Collector cannot extend the time of payment.

TOT TAXPAYERS - On November 4, 2020 Tuolumne County Voters approved Measure U, increasing the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT or Hotel Tax) rate from 10% to 12% and extending the tax to RV parks and campgrounds. The increase becomes effective July 1, 2021. Please see the Transient Occupancy Tax link on the left of the page.
