TAXPAYERS - 2025-2026 Annual Secured Property Tax bills are now available online and will be mailed over the next few weeks. The first installment is due Saturday, November 1, 2025 and becomes DELINQUENT Thursday, December 11, 2025. The Tax Collector's Office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For questions, call us at (209) 533-5544. Pay online at tctax.us or by telephone, (866)513-9216. Receipts are available online next-day or by including self-addressed stamped envelope. Mailed remittance must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on December 10 to avoid penalty. The Tax Collector cannot extend the time of payment.

Unsecured Tax Bills are due Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and become DELINQUENT on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The Tax Collector's Office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For questions, call (209) 533-5544. For telephone payments call (866) 513-9216. Receipts are available online next-day or by including self-addressed stamped envelope. Mailed remittance must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on September 2 to avoid penalty. The Tax Collector cannot extend the time of payment.

TAXPAYERS - As of July 1, 2025, any unpaid 2024-25 property taxes are considered DEFAULTED. While our system rolls over into the new fiscal year, amounts owed shown on the website may not be up to date. Please call our office for current amounts due. TAXPAYERS - The second installment of County taxes are due February 1, 2025, and becomes DELINQUENT on Thursday, April 10, 2025. The Tax Collector's Office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mailed remittance must be postmarked by 12:00 midnight on April 10th to avoid penalty. The Tax Collector cannot extend the time of payment.

 TOT TAXPAYERS - On November 4, 2020 Tuolumne County Voters approved Measure U, increasing the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT or Hotel Tax) rate from 10% to 12% and extending the tax to RV parks and campgrounds. The increase becomes effective July 1, 2021. Please see the Transient Occupancy Tax link on the left of the page.
