Avery Meyer has been a member of the California State Bar since 2006. He served as a Public Defender in Fresno County for over 17 years. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and has been involved in advocating for veterans and mentally ill clients as Senior Defense Attorney in Fresno County and continues to do so as Chief Conflict Counsel.

Erik Beauchamp- Chief Conflict Counsel
Erik Beauchamp has been a member of the California State Bar since 2002. He graduated with Distinction from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where he was an associate editor for the McGeorge Law Review. Since then, he has represented criminal defendants at Madera Alternate Defense, the Placer County Public Defender’s Office, and the Amador County Public Defender’s Office handling every aspect of criminal law. For several years, he represented clients on appeal through his own firm. He has been a Chief Conflict Counsel in Tuolumne County since 2022.
