Jail deputies Jail deputies have a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, with a maximum capacity of 230 inmates, which opened in January of 2021. In addition to Line Deputy, there are several job assignments available including: Transportation, Classification, Medical, Court and Work Crew. For those seeking more opportunities, there are several collateral assignments including: Firearms Instructor, Taser Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Impact Weapons Instructor, Less Lethal Instructor, Crisis Negotiation Team member, Search and Rescue Liaison, and more.
