Dog Park Rules:
- No dogs without people - no people without dogs
- Enter and then close the gate. Unleash your dog in the holding area; then open the inside gate and walk into the leash-free area. One handler and dog(s) in the holding area at a time. Keep leash available at all times
- Keep your dog leashed at all times while outside the fenced dog run area
- Keep your eye on your dog and never leave your dog unattended
- Always supervise dogs when they are playing and interrupt any rough play
- Be willing to leave the dog park if your dog is either being a bully, the play is getting too rough or your dog is just not having fun
- All off-leash dogs must be under the voice and visual control of their handlers
- Please clean up after your dog and pick-up your trash
- No smoking or eating in the dog run
- Puppies using the park must be older than six months
- Each adult may supervise 2 dogs
- Children under the age of 12 are not allowed inside the off-leash dog exercise area unless accompanied by an adult
- Children should not run with or chase dogs while in park
- Long-lasting dog chews should not be brought into the off-leash area. Small training treats are allowed
- Check with dog owners before sharing treats
- Female dogs in season are not allowed
- Un-neutered males over the age of six (6) months are not allowed inside the off-leash run when other dogs are present
- Make sure your dog is up-to-date on his or her vaccinations and has a current license
- Each owner or handler is legally and financially responsible for the actions of his/her dog in both the off-leash exercise area and the park
- You are using these facilities at your own risk. Neither Tuolumne County nor Sonora Sunrise Rotary shall be liable for any injury or damage caused by any dog or person in the park
