Traffic Flow Map Signalization at 5th Ave and SR 108/49

Jamestown - The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors has awarded the Contract # 1650, “Signalization at 5th Avenue and State Route 108/49 Project” to Sierra Mountain Construction, Inc. to construct intersection changes at 5th Avenue and State Route 108/49 and Jamestown Road.

  • Beginning on Monday, September 24, 2018, 7:00 am  5th Avenue will be opened to thru traffic located between SR 108/49 to 350 feet south of intersection (CHP office).
  • Beginning on Monday, September 24, 2018, 7:00 am  Jamestown Road from SR 108/49 to Woods Creek Bridge will be open to one way traffic with temporary signal located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Jamestown Road. One lane traffic will continue through to November 1, 2018.   Detour signs will be in place.
  • Work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday.


Please be aware of all construction signs or traffic control personnel in the construction zone.
