Update 1/3/2018

Construction on the culvert located on Kewin Mill Road at Five Mile Creek continues to progress. Sierra Mountain Construction, Inc., under contract with the County of Tuolumne, has completed stabilizing the new culvert pipes including protection of the channel, installed the headwall footings, and are currently pouring the headwalls this week (weather permitting).

Several factors influence the timing of temporary closures during construction. The type of work, weather, and construction delays are considered when deciding if the road will be closed. At this time, any closures to Kewin Mill Road at Five Mile Creek could occur daily between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. However, the contractor has accommodated the traveling public and allowed them to pass  during these closure periods. We will update this page if the schedule for the daily closures change.
