Overview of Services and Functions
The County of Tuolumne Office of Emergency Services (OES) provides preparedness before, and coordination direction during, large-scale emergencies and disasters. OES coordinates with partner agencies, special districts, and key private agencies in providing planning, response, recovery, and mitigation activities as a result of disaster related incidents.
The state's Office of Emergency Services Coordinates overall state agency response to major disasters in support of local government. The office is responsible for assuring the state's readiness to respond to and recover from both natural and man-made disasters, and for assisting local governments in their emergency preparedness, response and recovery efforts.
Mission Statement
In cooperation with local, state, federal agencies, enhance public protective actions, promote domestic preparedness through a comprehensive and effective emergency services program that will mitigate against, prepare for, respond appropriately to, and quickly recover from natural, technological, and terrorist related emergencies that may impact the residents of Tuolumne County,
The Everbridge Citizen Alert System allows residents and visitors to receive alerts issued by the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office of imminent threats and emergency warnings. This system has the option to enter one or multiple addresses that any registrant requests to be aware of in the event of an emergency.
(examples: primary residence, vacation property, child's school, daycare facilities, pet sitter, etc.)
It also allows for multiple methods of notification which can be customized by each registrant.
(examples: phone call, text message, e-mail, page, etc.)
It is essential that you enter your most current information into your Everbridge account. If your contact information changes, you must update the information in your account to ensure you receive future notifications. The address must be verified within the system, post office boxes will not be notified. Without a valid address, the system will not be able to locate you when a notification is launched.
